Leveraging National Prepardness Month
Emergency preparedness folks are forever searching for the funds to buy the tools they need. National Preparedness Month – September – can help. A few years ago, a client of ours, Blue Cross Blue Shield, created a Home Preparedness guidebook which they gave to their employees in September. The book was well-received (there are few better ways to someone’s heart than helping to protect their family). As an aside, I re-read that book the day before Hurricane Sandy, and it was extremely helpful. Anyhow, if there’s ever an excuse for management to give you some extra funds, National Preparedness Month is it.
